Here we are, bidding farewell to the chilly winter months and welcoming the much-awaited warmer days.

The spring equinox, also known as the vernal equinox, is a time when the length of day and night is almost equal, marking the official start of spring in the Northern Hemisphere. This astronomical event happens when the sun crosses the equator and its rays fall directly on the Earth's equator. The spring equinox is a significant occasion celebrated by many cultures worldwide, symbolising new beginnings, growth and the triumph of light over darkness.

This special time will have you feeling renewed and refreshed and with more energy. Here are some ways to welcome the new season.

 

Enjoy the outdoors

With warmer weather and longer days, the spring equinox is the perfect time to get outside and soak up the sunshine. Go for a hike, have a picnic or simply take a nice and slow stroll in nature. It is also a good idea to take your mat outside and enjoy a breezy flow in the sun!
